1-2 tablespoon of avocado oil Fats: 20.25 g.
salt and pepper to taste Protein: 6 g.
Gram Marsala to taste Carbs: 2 g.
Cayenne Pepper to taste.

Active Ingredients for Keto Crackers: Macros for Keto Crackers:.
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds Cal. 29.
1/2 cup of flax seeds Fats:.8 g.
1/2 tsp of pink salt Protein: 1.9 g.
2 tablespoon of water Carbs: 3.6 g.

  6. Dr Nick you truly are an inspiration and your videos enrich me every single day! Question for you. If i do weight lifting at least 3 times a week and doing boot camp type of workouts 4 to 5 times a week, can I build muscle and still stay in ketosis if I do 65% fat and 30% protein?

  11. You want to avoid Flax if you have low testosterone. Typically if you are over 50 you will have low testosterone.

    Keep it simple: Snack on organic raw nuts. Pili, pecan, hazel, macadamia and walnuts. Also you can snack on organic raw pumpkin seeds.

  12. Folks, there is nothing sexier than a fit MAN in the kitchen creating DELICIOUS healthy snacks! GREAT recipes. And you did it without adding processed sugar alcohols or any sweeteners. I do a very similar cracker. So important to try and keep those around all the time so you don’t get tempted by chips. I always want something other than just veggies to dip into home-made guacamole or salsa. Remind everyone to buy fresh, whole flaxseed. Store in the freezer or fridge. Grind as needed. Flaxseed goes rancid rapidly. I am with Katie and love the cayenne and dried hot peppers from my garden. (I left a lengthy comment earlier but it did not post.)

  15. Love these snacks. I do IF, one meal a day, keto. I make sure my snack fits in my macros. I love keto crackers. I use almond flour and flaxseed and olive oil. Oh and salt. thanks Dr. Nick and Katy.

  16. Dr Nick for the crackers, sunflower seeds do not agree with me. Is there a substitution for those that could be used to replace and not leave a bitter taste?

Do I have to soak them for actually 24 hours or is it enough to soak them overnight? I didn’t understand exactly how you did it 😳 And how many degrees did you put on your own to “fry” them? And for how many minutes?

  21. I agree that snacking should be avoid – wether you’re on a keto diet or not; but why miss out on those delicious snacks, you showed? The salty one will do fine as appetizers while you’re cooking, and the sweet ones as desserts 🙂

  22. Tried the almonds receipy .i do mine with egg white and the herbs instead of the oil.they come out more crunchy,when you heat olive oil it oxidizes. Try them. I value all the information you pass on keto.thank you.

  23. Dr Nick as I’m outside of the US can I join just for a couple of months only? A lot of the products/ingredients are hard to source sometimes and hubby works Middle East so ingredients even harder to find despite supermarkets catering for expats. I assume I can subscribe and then cancel say two or three months in?

  25. Hi Dr Nick. I am a 58 year old female and have been doing Keto for 3 months. I am pleased with a weight loss of 24lbs thus far. My question is about severe leg cramps at night in my calves and most recently in my ankles. I am taking potassium and magnesium bisglycinate daily and am still having the same issue. Any suggestions you may have would be appreciated. Thank you

I have been told that if you like to drink alcohol (socially/some weekends) that keto isn’t right for you….as your body will be constantly be moving in and out of ketosis which isn’t good for your body. What’s your opinion (or anyone familiar with this) about this idea?
